Internship Details

About Us
A web based public platform for Indian citizens to rate the quality of government services provided to them by their MLA/CM, which are used to generate report cards for MLAs/MPs/CMs and the PM. These report cards are viewable on the website and available for public debates and discussions over various media platforms. I for India now plans to build TV talk shows, expand to mobile and enable collaboration (offline and online) amongst the same constituency voters for increased impact and reach.

The Team
Work with a group of individuals who are passionate about improving the public discourse, and have previously worked in companies like Microsoft and Capital One Financial. The collective strength of the group lies in technology, entrepreneurship, data analysis, public policy, business strategy and film and ad production.

Key Responsibilities
The intern's key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Content writing for social media platforms, including Facebook Twitter, and Blog external media portals and publications and support with the management of these platforms.
  • Scan media publications for governance and citizen engagement related initiatives, compile and curate for social media channels.
  • Support media collaboration, outreach, and other projects that the organization undertakes.

Skills and Abilities

  • High level of work integrity
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter and willingness to work in a startup environment
  • Demonstrated interest in Indian politics and desire to influence social change is a plus.

Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune or Work From Home. (Can be worked out based on candidate’s preference)

Will depend on the candidate's skills and prior experience (Between the range of INR 3000-8000). There is the possibility of being hired for a full time position if one exceeds expectations and an opening arises.
